Been working on a blog, in my head!!! Its gon be called 'The Girls in My Life'. Its funny cos when I was on holiday, I bumped into one of my diaries from High School, Junior high actually!!! And there was a diary entry on there titled 'The girls in my life'. Its jus wierd how none of the girls on that list then are in this new list in my head!!! i never would've thot it'ld be much different nine years down the line! Know that sounds a lil naive but still! The girls in my life then were: Toyosi Oloyede (my first love). I was in love with her from the first day I saw her (11/10/1994) all through high school, goin into my first two years @ UNI!!! I remember when I told her I loved her (13/02/1998). She laughed, she thot I was jokin! Well she knew I wasn't jokin but maybe she thot she'ld play it down by turnin it into a joke!!! She was such a darling! I Remember blaming her response on the february 13th jinx. Truth be told yeah she was one of the best friends i've had, we had the best conversations and she was funny! Too bad i wanted more than her friendship! We drifted apart when she went to medical school and i moved to UK! But to be honest, the drifting started well before that!!! Could write a book about Toyosi & Me ok so i'll stop here! Second on that list was Peju Adeosun (my sista, my classmate, my bestfriend, my buddy). God knows, i miss her sometimes. she was the last person I thot i'ld neva see again after high school but its funny how these things turn out... i've seen her less than five times since we left school back in 2000!!! I remember we had a huge fight back in the day and i remember feelin 'how come i care bout this girl so much'. It was scary!!! You know what yeah, when next I'm back in Lagos, I'll go look for her!!! Whatchu think??? In close third was Adeola Adenugba, by far the sexiest size 6 lady i know + her walk was mean!!! We were so tight back in high school, she was funny, she thot i was funny, we had fun together!!! She made me feel good bout me and i loved being with her! she would even ditch her man to spend time with me! Once we got 2 UNI, we ran in different circles!!! but we still had our moments u know, clubbin, dinner, everything and she was/is lovely!!! Jus a pity we couldnt make out more time from our busy schedules!!! Joke (I'm ashamed I cant remember her surnmae but it does start with an 'A' and ends with 'oti', I remember now Joke Adegoroti, I think thats it!!! Nah take that back, Its Joke Adegoroye!!!) was the last girl on that list, we werent too close but she was like an older sister to me, she looked out for me and if there was anything, I knew she'ld have my back, I jus knew!!! We still talk though every now and again and i hear she looks like a million bucks nowadays!!! Cant believe i jus ran thru my high school years 2 you... But all that is not even close! The six years of my high school could be written into atleast TWO best sellers!!! And you know what yeah, if theyd've have told me that none of these girls would still be pivotal in my life nine years from when i wrote that entry, i'ld think you were having a laugh but... its true though!!! The girls in my life now (knowing fully well that in 2015, they may well not be in my life anymore), I'm gonna make sure they know that I love them to death and that I aint goin nowhere! ALL IT TAKES, whatever it takes! Gon be there!!! And if you're wondering who these girls in my life are, i think you have an idea of atleast one!!! But jus incase u dont.... I'll tell you!!!
